School District 22 Shine Run, involving runners from all families of our Vernon schools, is taking place on Friday, February 26, between 10:30 and 1:00. This run is open to all schools within our district.  As we are grouped within 5 families, five -  3 km routes have been divided into 250 m parts (total of 12) that start at individual locations within Vernon / Coldstream.  All runs end up at the board office parking lot.   There will be 12 runners participating  from each school.  The participants from each of the five family of schools will be picked up and delivered to the starting place of their individual run.  The bus will follow and drop off and pick up runners along the route.  The student / teacher / CUPE / parent participants will meet together after the conclusion of this run in the front parking lot of the School District 22 Board Office.   Healthy snacks donated by Nature's Fair, and a quick celebration that focusses on  belonging, cooperation, community, diversity and school pride will take place after the run is completed.
