Career Planning

Find useful resources for students exploring possible career paths, whether it is via University or directly entering the work force.
Students can use the Educational Planner which gives detailed information about post-secondary schooling in BC, or look into 200 occupations as they relate to the BC job market.

Trades and industry occupations are vital to the economy, and make excellent career choices.  There are two ways to start your apprenticeship while in high school.
Youth Work in Trades is on the job training, where you will be paid and can earn up to 16 high school credits.
Youth Train in Trades is a technical based foundation training program.  These courses are offered in conjunction with Okanagan College and Industry Training Authority (ITA).
