Mother Goose

Mother Goose Program for families with children from birth to 4 years

The Mother Goose Program teaches parents and their youngsters:

  • Nursery rhymes
  • Finger Plays
  • Songs
  • Story telling techniques

This quality time for parents and their infants/pre-schoolers fosters:

  • Positive interactions between parent and child
  • Infant/parent bonding
  • Development of vocabulary and other language skills
  • Pre-literacy skill development, helping children to be ready to learn when they enter school.

Programs run for 1 hour, once a week for 8 weeks.

Mother Goose programs are offered free of charge to families with funding provided by School District 22,  and the Okanagan Boys and Girls club.
