The Secondary School Apprenticeship Program offers motivated and focused students the opportunity to become registered apprentices with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) while working towards high school graduation.

This course is designed for dedicated art students in grades 10, 11, and 12 who want to take their skills and creative abilities to a high level of achievement. In conjunction with OC selected students at both Fulton Secondary and Vernon Secondary will be able to receive Level 1 Cook training 9Red Seal) whild attending High School.

The Forestry Program provides students with a broad-based practical and theoretical background in the forestry industry. This program has been designed to prepare stuents for pre-trades programs.

Global Education

Global Education is a locally developed, interdisciplinary program designed to challenge students interested in current global issues, students considering a career in international and/or community affairs, and students interested in participating in a unique international field study.

High Performers Program

HPP students must be strong academically and must be achieving at a provincial, regional, national, or international level that requires time and energy be taken out of the traditional school schedule. The program currently has skiers, snow and wake boarders, swimmers, a show jumper, figure skater, a musician and two actors.

This program is housed at Vernon Secondary School

Peak Experience

Students have the opportunity to learn about challenging activities. Introduction to potential lifelong activities.
