Testimonials

A Student
I could use all the words in the world, and I still won't be able to tell you how global ed effected me.  It changed my life.  It changed how I look at the world, and how I feel about the people in it, including myself.  It gave me new found confidence that I didn't know I was capable of having.  We were constantly put into new and challenging situations that we independently had to figure out.  We were treated as equals, and given more respect by our teachers than I have ever been given before.  Global Education was hard at times, because it was real.  We dealt with real life situations that helped us learn about the world around us, in ways that many of my peers will never experience.  I was thrown into a class knowing almost no one, and came out with a family of 32.  Only those who have been through global ed can really understand what I'm talking about.  I really believe that if everyone experienced what we did, the world would be so much better off.
A Parent
The Global Ed program at Fulton Secondary was an absolutely wonderful experience for my daughter Kelsey, who was in the program last year. She became aware of her own community of Vernon and the needs of various groups, how to interact with people at all different levels. The trip to Nicaurauga was an eye opening experience. She developed a strong physical work ethic, building a wall, working as a team member and meeting and helping the local people.  Overall, the program has opened a new understanding of the world in a global perspective. Thank you, to both Murray and Al for providing the program at Fulton Secondary.
