Amber alert Logo   AMBER Alert is a tool used by the police in certain child abduction cases to assist in the search for the child and suspected abductor(s).
When an AMBER Alert is activated, a message is broadcast on Local radio/TV and cable stations. Police services immediately gain the assistance of thousands of broadcast and cable listeners and viewers.
School District #22 supports the AMBER Alert. Superintendent Dr. Bob Peacock, key contact person for the District.
For more information about AMBER Alert, please see the BC RCMP website

School Supplies
Each elementary school supplies students with the school supplies that are needed for the school year. There is a nominal fee charged for these supplies, Kindergarten $18. Primary $32., and Intermediate $38. This fee is collected by the teacher the first week of classes. The ability to purchase school supplies by the entire district gives the best possible price per item available. Not every elementary school particpates in this program, so you need to check with that schools administration the first week school begins. There may be additional fees for activities within the school. Please check the school district website for district wide activity fees.
Each Secondary school will supply students with supply lists the first week of classes.
