Grade 11 Numeracy Exam

June 18, 2018

As many of you are aware, students currently in grade 11 are the first students on the new graduation program in BC.  One part of the new graduation program is the Numeracy Exam, which all students must write in order to meet graduation requirements.  We have registered all of our grade 11 students to write the exam.

Your son/daughter can opt out of writing the exam this year, but then must be scheduled to write it next year prior to graduation in order to meet graduation requirements.  If they choose to opt out of writing it this year, please have them inform our acting vice principal, Mr. Lee, as soon as possible.

The numeracy exam will be written in three sessions next week here at Seaton in rooms 333 and 334.  Exam schedules are posted in classrooms and in the main office so that students are aware of when they are scheduled to write.
