Registration: Online at:  www.v​ April 20th until May 27th, 2016

Apply early as registrations will be closed when capacity for each course is reached.

Note: Not all students are suitable candidates for taking courses online. The self-directed, capable and motivated student who is comfortable using computers is most likely to be successful in the online environment.

Dates: Courses will be open May 16th.  It is strongly recommended that students create a pacing plan and shoot to complete courses in a timely fashion, preferably prior to July 30th, 2016.  Teacher support and assignment grading will be limited during the month of August and will resume to daily support on September 5th.

Times: Daily as required by the teacher and course completion demands.  Online courses can be accessed from the web servers by students 24/7 for the duration of the course.

Confirmation of final course offerings will occur before May 16th based on enrollment.

Provincial Exams:   Required attendance for e-exam writing for BC First Nations 12 and Social Studies 11 will be held on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 from 9:00am-11:00am.  Students must bring photo identification and arrive 15 minutes early.

Exam Location: W.L. Seaton Secondary, 2701-41st Avenue, Vernon BC.  

Cost:  All online courses are free to school aged students.

A deposit of $40.00 is required for the BC First Nations 12 textbook.  The deposits are to be paid prior to starting the course and are payable by cash or cheque ONLY.  Students can pick up the textbooks at The Open Door Education Centre, 2901-29th Street, Vernon BC.  If out of town students cannot obtain the textbooks from their local schools we will mail them and the cost will be the responsibility of the student.  All deposits will be refunded when the texts have been returned in good condition.

Marks: Marks will be available from the teachers upon course completion.  Open Door will also send the final mark to the Ministry of Education.
