The heart of our department is Aboriginal students and their successful achievement Kindergarten through to Grade 12. We are dedicated to surrounding Aboriginal students with the best educational opportunities and learning experiences by keeping ourselves knowledgeable and current on the most successful and prominent Aboriginal pedagogical practices used locally, provincially, nationally, and globally. It is our deepest desire to attract and maintain strong partnerships with the local Aboriginal communities as their children progress and success in the Vernon school district. We actively seek applications from Aboriginal Teachers on an annual basis. |
