BX School

This is BX School.  We are happy to have you on our webpage.  Our school cares for everybody.  Including YOU !
Students sing a song called BX CARES.  It means that we care for everybody.

If you get a BX Cares Badge  you write your name on it and fold it up, and put it in a purple or silver box.  The purple box is for primary students and the silver box is for intermediate students.  Mrs. Inkster and Mr. Stevens or even you, draw out a name from each box on Monday mornings in assembly.  Whoever is picked, gets to win a  PRIZE  !!

Don’t feel SHY.  Everyone does when they first go to school !

School is fun school is fun!
 When school is done, you frown.
When your work is done,
You get to go home and play in the sun.
Sometimes being deaf isn’t so fun because you can’t hear, but don’t worry.
If you come from a different school, are home schooled, or a different province, you can join our school, BX Elementary.
We do things like:  horseback riding in the spring and fall, we bake food like cakes, cupcakes, pies, cookies and many more. 
We go on field trips like to Croc Talk, Pumpkin Hunting, Performing Arts Centre, ski trips, swimming,  and many more.
We have groups like social skills groups, reading groups, and lunch time groups.
Parents organize the Apple  Blossom Fair every spring at   B X !!!!!      

Our school mascot is the BX Bear.  You can be a bear at BX !!!  This means that you are placed in a group and your group will be named after a bear.   You can be a Kodiak Bear, a Grizzly Bear, a Polar Bear, and also a Black Bear.  Yay !!!!  Go  BX !!!!   In your group you will play games, have races, make up cheers and you can even win the BX Cup !!

If you have a problem at school, you can go and see Mrs. Inkster or Mrs. Taylor, or Mr. Seutter.  They will help you solve big or little problems.  We also have BX Buddies.  They are grade 6 or 7 students that help wipe away your problems.  Also, you can ask BX Buddies to play with you.  Don’t feel shy.  They are friendly.

B X is in Vernon B.C. We are located on Silver Star Road near the fire hall. The BX area has the BX falls. Vernon has Silver Star Mountain with  ski hills, tube town, and snow shoe paths.
