Purpose of our High School Golf Program:
We seek to promote character development and life enhancing values through the game/sport of golf. We welcome both sexes to play golf on the school team. Some of the Key
Character Traits golf develops are: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment. Proper Etiquette is emphasized in our program. Tournament Rules must be followed at all times.
To sign up to be in the VSS
Golf Program: please fill out the Player Profile form Electronically, and Email the Word or RTF form (if you don't have Word) back to Mr. Spiller at rickspiller@shaw.ca Word-Player Profile form RTF-Player Profile form You must have your own equipment and have already played some golf. Good, reasonably priced, Junior Memberships are available at local golf courses, which include lessons and playing privileges. Next year, Player Profile forms must be submitted electronically before the Tournament signup meeting.

Organizational meetings:
Early in March you should send your player profile (see above) to Mr. Spiller and read Parent/Player letter below
1. First group meeting Info Package Friday, March 11, 2011 at lunch rm 409 Mr. Spiller's room, to update student rankings
2. Tournament sign up Day Tuesday, March 15, 2011 lunch rm 409 Mr. Spiller's room, to sign up for tournaments
3. Team Picture for the School Annual March 18th or so
VSS Golf Shirts: We will have a one time order of VSS golf shirts made at the beginning of the season. They will be very reasonable in cost.
Top 10 Students should definitely purchase one. We look and feel sharp when the team all have VSS golf shirts.
Permission Form: Students need to get their class teachers' permission to leave. Get form when you pay for your round.
