The Board of Education is considering disposing of two properties with a combined size of 6.8 acres in the Bella Vista neighbourhood.
The site is:
- 3.4km away from the undeveloped 5.8-acre Heritage Park, which is owned by the Board.
- 4.0km away from Okanagan Landing Elementary.
- 3.0km away from Ellison Elementary.
The long-range facilities plan anticipates that nearby schools Ellison Elementary, Okanagan Landing Elementary and Fulton Secondary have sufficient capacity to accommodate projected enrolment for the foreseeable future.
