J.W. Inglis - Child Care Facility Design Concept
School District 22 invites community feedback regarding the design concept of the new child care facility at J.W. Inglis Elementary in Lumby.
This new child care facility will include 24 spaces for infant-toddlers, 25 spaces for children three to five, and 54 spaces for school-age children. Please click here to view the Design Concept.
The new child care spaces are made possible through more than $11.5 million from the ChildCareBC New Spaces Fund. This fund is jointly supported by provincial investments and federal funding provided under the Canada-British Columbia Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement. British Columbia and the federal government signed an extension to the agreement for 2026-27 until 2030-31.
This feedback form will be open until Friday, January 16, 2026.
A community information session was held January 13, 2026. Here is the presentation link: J.W. Inglis Child Care Facility Presentation
