Inclusion Department: Building Inclusive Starts for Students

Itinerant teachers have been supporting schools across the district as they begin the year with thoughtful planning, strong connections, and a focus on ensuring each student is welcomed, understood, and supported to learn in ways that work for them.

Alongside this school-based work, the itinerant teaching team is planning meaningful professional learning for Educational Assistants and teachers, creating opportunities to deepen understanding, strengthen inclusive practices, and build shared approaches that support students across schools.
